]]> Loria Stern’s Instagram bio reads: “the OG flower pressed shortbread cookie since 2015.” Indeed, the Californian chef and baker became quite famous thanks to her edible flower cookies. Romantic, minimalist, and ethereal, her cookies look like tiny, delicate pieces of art – so much so that it’s almost a pity to eat them (but only almost).

Each of her cookies is made by hand. More specifically, each small batch of dough is rolled by hand, each edible flower is picked by hand, and each cookie is thoughtfully designed and then packaged by hand.

The private chef and caterer loves creating delicious and healthy foods using local, seasonal and highest quality ingredients. Many of the herbs, edible flowers, fruits, and vegetables that she uses in her dishes come from her home garden. “All cookies are made by hand with utmost care,” reads Stern’s website. “Cookies are pressed with flowers and herbs seasonally available. Every cookie is different and pressed with individual botanicals.”

“We take immense pride in our high quality ingredients and care,” adds Stern. “All ingredients are organic and of the highest quality.” Stern also passes on her special recipes and secret techniques through cooking classes that you, too, can sign up to.

Once in a blue moon…is what they say about days like today. If you look up in the sky around dusk, you will see the full May Flower Moon 🌝🌸✨// This moon happens to be the second full moon this month which is rare + historically cited as blue. How else to celebrate other than blue flower cookies + blue lattes? // #recipe as follows:. . .2 tablespoons dried blue pea flowers. .2 cups boiling water. .1 can full fat coconut milk. .1/2 teaspoon manuka honey. . .Pour the boiling water on the pea flowers in a large glass cup. Let steep for at least 10 minutes. The longer you steep the darker the blue color. Simmer can of coconut milk with honey. Strain the blue tea from the petals and pour the liquid into the coconut milk. Simmer until just warm and combined. Pour into a tea pot and enjoy with a friend #neworder #bluemonday #yveskleinblue

]]> The most anticipated final season of the blockbuster hit HBO TV series Game of Thrones is less than 2 weeks away and everyone is excited including Oreo.

Recently, Oreo and HBO teamed up with Elastic, the creator of the original opening credits, to create a new version of the series’ intro using nearly 3,000 cookies.

Oreo had already teased the release of the ‘Game of Thrones’-inspired chocolate cookies but the official announcement was made last Tuesday along with a video clip recreating the show’s opening credits sequence with lots of Oreo cookies.

Oreo reported that it took 2,750 cookies to build the snowy view of the landscapes and castles. Their limited-edition Game of Thrones cookies features a special package of the Iron Throne. The cookies themselves are marked with stylized logos for House Targaryen, House Stark, House Lannister, and The Night King.

The special cookies will be available in the US on April 8.
