Tammy Kanat is a textile artist from Australia who weaves wool wall hangings using concentric circles as a starting point. She uses a steel frame to create a structure for her abstract tapestries before filling it in with wool and other natural materials like linen and silk. Rows of colorful materials make up glorious textures and each design is unique.
“My process has become more intricate with a connected sense of freedom and experimentation. I am working with 3D shapes and continually pushing the boundaries of colours, textures and the unexpected,” the artist told This is Colossal.
