They promote the values of kindness, compassion, and positivity, showing encouraging people to look at the positive side of life.
The positive nature of Templonuevo’s comics has brought him a significant following on social media. According to the artist, his followers can expect only positive content in the future because he doesn’t like to share anything that would bring even remotely bad thoughts.
“My purpose for drawing stuff is to bring inspiration, encouragement, and fun to others, and any illustrations not related to that, I don’t share it,” Templonuevo shared in a recent chat with Bored Panda.
Another reason why Templonuevo’s comics are popular is the eye-catching and smooth illustration. The artist wanted to achieve a style that is a combination of animated shows Rick and Morty and Adventure Time but ended up with a unique visual expression that has become recognizable on the internet.

]]>Yamamoto ventured into felting after receiving a felting kit as a gift from a friend. Being a big cat lover, she decided to make the felines the primary subject of her works. She liked the activity so much that she started using all her free time to create felted cats.
When Yamamoto first ventured into felting, the practice wasn’t as popular as it is today. As a result, she was forced to learn everything about felting on her own, going through a lot of trial and error before mastering the necessary techniques.
Nowadays, Yamamoto is an expert in felting, and the felted cats she regularly shares on her Instagram page show it. They look like real felines frozen in time while they are snoozing, chasing butterflies, or stretching after a long nap.
Yamamoto also enjoys sharing her knowledge with others, providing videos with felting tips on her Instagram. She is currently working on opening an online school to make felting courses available to everyone.

]]>Each of Kurihara’s works consists of a base with intriguing patterns and twists, resembling a fruit found in nature but featuring elements of creative freedom. From them, beautiful flowers and other parts emerge, adding another layer of complexity to each piece.
On her website, Kurihara says that plants and their growth provide her with an endless source of inspiration. Sometimes, she even grows plants in her studio, observing each stage to get a better insight into the process.
“I take inspiration from the plant world with particular attention to forms and their geometric repetition, “Kurihara says about her works. “Every element of nature seems to repeat itself, but in fact, there is an infinite variety of it. I have the deep desire to make concrete the fruits represented in my mind and to be able to contemplate them through my own eyes.”

]]>Sharks are actually a lot less dangerous than you might think. Only 30 shark species out of close to 400 that we know about have been recorded to attack humans. The University of Florida released data that shows there have been only 57 confirmed unprovoked cases of shark attacks on humans in 2022 and five unprovoked shark-related fatalities. The Centers for Disease Control, on the other hand, report that 22 people die from cow attacks each year.
In an attempt to change the narrative about sharks and make people look at them in a more positive light, digital artist Requinoesis started a series of illustrations that feature sharks as their main characters. In these cute and colorful artworks, sharks are shown hanging out in their small cities, exploring the ocean depths, and taking well-deserved naps.
“With my artwork, I try to purify the “Jaws feeling” that haunts the image of sharks, showing that there are many more creative and imaginative possibilities in these creatures than just their jaws!” the artist shares.
Make sure to continue scrolling and check out more of these adorable shark illustrations. Maybe you’ll realize that they are not the bad guys after all.

]]>Jospin has been creating jaw-dropping cardboard sculptures for the past 15 years. Her works have been exhibited all over the world and commissioned by high-profile companies like Dior. They are also part of permanent installations in art galleries, buildings, and open spaces like Max Mara’s flagship store at Piazza del Liberty in Milan, Italy.
While her works encompass a large number of themes, the majority of Jospin’s creative output is centered on the recreation of caves, forest landscapes, and architectural ruins. Each piece is done with meticulous precision, depicting decaying stone material, flaking tree bark, and complex patterns.
Jospin’s sculptures often aim to “explore the relationship between nature and culture while challenging our perceptions of materiality.” They are displayed in a way that invites the viewer to give them a closer inspection, either by passing through them or by getting close enough to be able to fully appreciate the artist’s craftsmanship.

]]>Simba’s owner recently posted a video of the dog playing a percussion instrument called glockenspiel. The dog can be seen hitting the instrument’s bars with a mallet placed in his mouth and getting really energetic about it.
“Simba is an enthusiastic percussionist,” Simba’s owner captioned the video, which was viewed 2.6 million times in just a couple of days.
As it turns out, glockenspiel isn’t the only instrument this talented dog can play. After the original video went viral, his owner posted a follow-up clip in which Simba can be seen playing a bongo drum with his paws. And it’s actually an even more impressive sight if you ask us.
Simba is actually not the only talented musician in the family. His sibling, a Springer spaniel named Bonnie, also has very admirable music skills. Bonnie is an expert pianist who apparently has a dream to perform with pop star Elton John one day. We hope that John will take notice of her talent because it would definitely be a cool thing to witness.

]]>The unusual series is a result of Babina’s constant pursuit of new ways to express his creativity. He isn’t afraid to change his style or dive into different types of artmaking if he feels so, and as a result, he is creating some impressive works.
In Wirefaces, he explores his fascination with geometrical shapes and colors while taking on familiar subjects to channel it. This includes musician David Bowie, revolutionary figure Che Guevara, scientist Albert Einstein, and several others.
“In an attempt to reach the linguistic essence of telling a face, these portraits are depleted of matter, the changing shadows are part of the composition, and the voids carry an expressive meaning,” explains Babina.
Besides 2D illustrations, Babina has reworked his Wirefaces into 3D sculptures with the help of 3D artist Daniel Giordano. These sculptures were created in a way that they are constantly changing according to the observer’s point of view. You can check them in the video below.
