Ed Merlin Murray is an illustrator from Scotland who creates vibrant illustrations and animates them without using any software. He does it by pulling tabs, by flipping papers, and in many other ways, depending on the effect he wants to achieve. His work often revolves around the expressiveness of the human face, so his characters mostly blink their eyes and move their lips.
According to his website, “when not drawing, Murray plays Lego with his kids and keyboards in a traditional local reggae band.”
