A six-year-old pure-bred Chow Chow named Chowder from Manila, the Philippines, became an instant internet sensation thanks to his adorable looks and striking resemblance to a giant teddy bear.
This adorable, cuddly furball has more than 430 thousand followers on Instagram, who are waiting for photos of Chowder’s adventures to brighten their day. The dog’s owners had absolutely no idea that their pet was going to have so many fans from around the world when they made these social media accounts.
“We didn’t see it coming at all. We did not make him an Instagram and Facebook with the intent of making him ‘famous.’ we really just wanted to show the world how cute our dog was and hey, I think a lot of people agree,” Chowder’s owner who wanted to stay anonymous commented to ABC News on their dog’s popularity.
