Garfield is one of the most recognizable felines in the entire world, and for good reason — his dry humor and sarcasm transcends language and has made countless people from around the world laughing their hearts out.
As awesome as Garfield is though, he can sometimes be a little too much.
That’s probably why when Dublin-based technology manager Dan Walsh created an entirely new Garfield comics, but without Garfield, it didn’t take too long for it to get some attention.
You’d think that Garfield without Garfield would be bad, but you’d be wrong. As it turns removing Garfield from the equation isn’t half-bad, as Garfield Minus Garfield will prove to you.
Even though Garfield is gone and has since been literally edited out of the picture, the de-Garfielded comic strips continue to offer the same hilarious but depressing look at suburban life that the original did. Although, if you pay close attention, the de-Garfielded version of the comics can either be more hilarious or more depressing, depending on which comic strip you’re reading.
