What’s your idea of saving the world? Is it having superpowers, putting on a cape, and catching the bad guys? Sure, that’s a good idea. But, did you know that something as simple as picking up trash wherever you go is, in a way, saving the world already?
It may sound so easy to do, and in fact, it is, but you’re actually saving the world by picking up one trash at a time.
Peter, of the Instagram page “Peterpicksuptrash,” had the same idea, which is why he started an Instagram account dedicated solely to him taking photos of the trash he picks up every day.
Peter also uses each photo to make a point on how easy it was for them (and probably for other people) to pick up the trash on the ground.
As you can clearly see from Peter’s examples, it doesn’t take a whole lot of effort to clean up trash and make the whole world a cleaner place. Considering how much trash there already is in the world right now, Peter might really be on to something about how much something as simple as throwing trash properly can make a huge difference.
