IHOP President Darren Rebelez has finally announced the new changes to the beloved pancake franchise.
The official Twitter account teased the IHOP’s new name: IHOb, last week. On Monday, Rebelez revealed on “Fox & Friends” that “b” stands for burgers.
“I’d love to welcome all of America to the world’s first IHOb restaurant, which stands for the International House of Burgers,” he shared.
“You can get pancakes with your burger at the same time so you don’t even have to choose,” he said explaining that the new name is only temporary. It’s a “high-risk maneuver,” he added.
Despite Rebelez’s assurance that pancakes will still be a major part of their business, the internet still freaked out. Here are some of the comical reactions.
Dear Internet, we abbreciate your batience. Now let’s see who guessed right. B-hold!!!!! #IHOb pic.twitter.com/Fh3SkZ7s3Y

Not really afraid of the burgers from a place that decided pancakes were too hard.

Remember when you were like 7 and thought changing your name to Thunder BearSword would be super cool?
Like that, but our cheeseburgers are still better.— Wendy's (@Wendys) June 11, 2018
