Dogs are man’s best friend for a reason. These furry friends of ours simply love any chance to spend fun time with us and always become gloomy and downhearted when we’re about to leave. But with more and more shops and facilities becoming pet-friendly, we don’t have to leave them at home so often anymore. And did you know that Texas is home to the first dog-friendly movie theater in the world?

Eric Lankford is a dog lover who got fed up with the fact that he can’t take his Australian Eskimo pup named Bear to most places he enjoys, which was the main trigger for him to open K9 Cinemas in Texas in 2018. For just $15, you and your doggo will get to enjoy a great movie, with the addition of free unlimited amounts of wine! If you pay $5 plus, you can bring a second dog along. There are treats available for your dog as well, so you don’t have to worry if your buddy gets hungry.

The movie theater has three simple rules for making sure everyone is happy: the first time when you bring your pet you must provide valid documents from their vet; second, you must always clean up after your dog; and third, you can bring maximum two dogs.
