Just like every color represents something different, every flower has its own meaning. The common thing about flowers, though, is that all flowers are gorgeous and that’s one way in which nature creates masterpieces. When properly arranged, they’re truly breathtaking and form a fantasy world of rich hues, shapes and patterns.

The cherry blossom, or sakura in Japanese, is definitely the most famous symbol of Japan. But this beautiful country actually has many other lovely flowers apart from its sakura trees. While the cherry blossom has its own distinctive beauty, the wisteria tree has a charm that is equally captivating. If you plan to visit Japan in spring, be sure to include Ashikaga Flower Park in your list of destinations. Located just north of Tokyo, the park has the largest wisteria tunnel garden in Japan.

Wisterias are pleasantly sweet-smelling vines that are found mainly in Japan, China and some eastern states of North America. These flowering plants can produce flowers in many different colors, which makes them the most beautiful trees in the world. Some of the most common colors are purple, white, pink, yellow and blue. Wisteria vines can grow up to 5 meters each year and bloom during the spring season.

Cherry blossoms are a symbol of spring in Japan, one that graciously represents the fragility and preciousness of life. It’s a reminder that life is overwhelmingly beautiful, but at the same time tragically short. During this season, when the trees are in their full bloom, Japanese people come with their family and friends to celebrate springtime with music, food and drinks.

In the spirit of celebration, Japanese people took these beautiful trees to the next level and built the largest cherry blossom tree made entirely of Lego bricks. The tree was originally designed in the Czech Republic and then shipped to Legoland Japan in Nagoya, where it was assembled. It was also meant to celebrate the theme park’s first anniversary.

It took over 6,500 hours of work to finish it and exactly 881,470 Lego bricks were needed to pull this off. Over 14 feet tall and almost five feet wide, the tree has been registered in the Guinness Book of World Records as the ‘largest Lego brick cherry blossom tree.'”

This pretty Lego structure features a grassy green base, a canopy with thousands of flowers, and Lego working lanterns that glitter at night. Check it out below!

Every parent loves taking photos of their children, especially when they are young, chubby and adorable. Everything is new when they are young, every move the baby makes is funny and heartwarming and they just have to capture that moment for eternity. While lots of parents love to take photos of their babies while taking a bath, some parents found a new and original way to capture their special moments and share their children’s creativity.

Yota is without a doubt one very creative father and he makes his children parts of incredible scenarios. This creative Japanese dad makes adorable pictures of his two kids by simply drawing on to the pictures. He makes a plain photo on a white background with his kids and then adds creative details that make the photo surreal. This cool dad takes his kids swimming with the dolphins, and even though they’re one and three years old, they’re ready to go to Hogwarts. They’re also champions in the Olympics, according to the dad, and they can play different instruments.

Even though every child sees superhero in their parents, this father really is his kids’ main superhero. Scroll down and behold these masterpieces and get your daily dose of cuteness!

Usually the first thing that you think about a foreign country is its culture. The gestures that people make, the way they talk and act in the crowd, do they recycle, even the way they eat tells us a lot about a country that is new to us. All of these things are different in plenty of countries and sometimes it’s hard to adjust to all the new customs.

Evangeline Neo is an artist who noticed these things and decided to create comics about them. She noticed that Japan is different compared to other countries while she was studying in Tokyo from 2010 to 2014. She successfully caught the differences in behavior in restaurants, in public parks and even shops! For example, slurping noodles is totally acceptable in restaurants.  Neo also tells a story about the lifestyle of the Japanese, like for example how the elderly are much more active compared to some other countries and how everyone picks up the garbage after a football game.

With a collection of over 300 comics and two books, Neo hopes that her illustrations will help everyone understand Japan better and enjoy her comics at the same time!
