They are the artist’s answer to the 36 Days of Type Challenge, “a yearly open call inviting designers, illustrators, and visual artists to share their view on the letters and numbers from our alphabet,” as we read on Instagram.

According to Charlie, though most of our experiences these days are digital, there still use for paper stationery. “I’ve asked a lot of people to recall the last time they sent or received a lovely handwritten letter,” she told the Printed blog. “Hardly anyone could remember. There’s no getting away from the ease of an email, but I really hope that by selling these products I can get as many people as possible taking a little time out of their day to correspond to a friend or loved one with a letter.”
While Charlie is the illustrator and product designer of the operation, Gav is in charge of the artwork set-up, managing print production as well as social media. But the couple also has a cat, Mr. Miaow, who acts as CCEO (Chief Cat Executive Officer).

]]>Fisher’s wedding invitations include themes like boho, vintage, and rustic, as well as more traditional and luxurious designs. “I’d hate to think that print and stationery is dying out as it’s so magical to create designs, have these printed and have something tactile to hold and cherish forever,” she admitted in an interview with the Printed blog. “I believe there is still a strong desire for printed stationery and my clients are keeping me busy, so that must be a sign!”
Some of her more out-there designs include DIY “Save the Date” tipis. “We are having a tipi wedding in the Lake District, so after doing a bit of research and various designs, that’s when the pop-up tipi came to life,” she explained. “I love quirky designs and a lot of color, and I also wanted something that people will remember and have some fun with.”

]]>Her collection includes anything and everything, through which she revives the ancient art of letter writing. “Creativity comes from a long way back, and has developed throughout the years in an always present character trait,” she recalled in an interview with Surely Simple. “As a kid, I was always busy collecting things, wooden boxes, postage stamps, poetry illustrations, books, paper, but also ladybugs or tadpoles.”
“Some of my favorite things to do is decorating envelopes, making flipbooks and collages and write letters,” she went on to say. “I seriously get happy by unpacking mail and discover a little bit of the world from the person behind it.”
Her collection includes postcards, stickers, washi tape, and original wax seals. Some of which she also sells on her Etsy shop. Prepare to fall in love with paper:
