Ahmad Habash describes himself as a visual storyteller “contemplating life frame by frame” and he’s constantly seeker serenity through art. Recently, he started a project, a personal study based on photo manipulations. He says that “Anthropomorphism” juxtaposes the human body with the faces of the animals where the animals become personified, and the person animalized.

“At some point, it is hard to tell whether the animalistic features make the human more animal, or does the body humanize (anthropomorphize) the animal,” the artist wrote on Bored Panda. “The result generates insight into the psychology and character of the individual. It all becomes mixed and unclear.”

Besides doing his own personal projects, which he shares on his Instagram account and website, Habash also does other kinds of stuff like illustration, videography, and papercraft. He is open for commissions, so if you are interested in his work, feel free to contact him.

Andrey Scherbak, the proud owner of two cats and a dog one day came up with an idea to create a world where giant cats existed. The Russian artist was inspired by a photo taken in a forest.

“I was looking through a photo album and one picture I had taken in a forest on a corporate retreat caught my eye, and that’s how the idea was born,” the artist told Bored Panda. “I liked it, so I took another photo with the intention of placing a cat in it.”

On his photographs, you can see Scherback, a giant cat and sometimes his 3-year-old Labrador named Rooney.

“I decided to create an Instagram account full of pictures of only me and cats because that’s not very different from the reality I live in,” he added. “I lead a rather isolated way of life.”

He finds his cat images on Google; Scherbak initially intended to take photos of Pif and Panya, his adorable fur-balls, however, they wouldn’t collaborate.

We’ve seen animal hybrids before, but have you ever seen a food-animal hybrid? No. Us too.

Apparently, most people hadn’t really thought that was possible. At least, until photo manipulation artist, Ronald Ong, showed everyone that you can create image mashups of animals and food, among others.

From creating a hybrid between a fox and a loaf of bread, or a zebra and a stack of oreos, Ronald’s work are as weird as they are surreal.

To create the photos that look like they came straight out of a foodie’s dream, he uses photos of real animals, cuts and mixes them together to create something that looks like a real food item out of the selected creature’s body.

Regardless of which photo you choose, Ronald’s talent and eye for detail is obvious.
