French artist Bernard Pras is known worldwide for his anamorphoses, works conceived from recovered objects: leaves, packaging, various toys, musical instruments, plastic waste or household objects. A hodgepodge of found objects that usually hides an image not perceptible at first sight. At least, it depends on which side you are on.
Indeed, these works can only be appreciated from just one point of view; this is the very concept of anamorphosis: an optical illusion where the deformed works recompose instantly from a certain angle of view. A step on the side and everything breaks down.
