These Minimal Illustrations Are Full of Zest

Italian artist and designer, Erika Rossi, is known for her minimal and colorful style that consists of bold and flat shapes that carry within them a hidden message.

Born in Italy in 1986, she’s currently based in Barcelona. An interaction and UX designer with 7 years of experience in the digital realm, her interests span from tangible interfaces and mobile solutions to craft and illustration.

Gradutaing from Iuav’s, with an MA in Visual and Multimedia Communication, she specialized in Interaction Design with a project called I Mirabilia consisting of three interactive dolls for hospitalized children. This project gained several international prizes such and has also been presented at TEDx Salzburg and Ambience 11.

Amongst the things that she loves and that inspire her, she mentions palm trees, cats, pistachio ice-cream, and bloody-thirsty TV series. Things that she cannot stand: rain, pickles, and rats.
