Stock images have very good image quality, but in terms of subject, they are rather boring. German graphic designer Justin Peters cleverly uses the good qualities of the photos to create something new, perplexing and extraordinary.
Peters combines two or more stock photos into one surreal new image. The 22-year-old artist is inspired by Pablo Picasso’s quote that everything you can imagine is real. Creating digital art collages, he blends different objects and scenes to form a dreamlike world where “anything is possible.”
Peters’ digital compositions combine images in such a way that something seemingly impossible arises. The nice thing about these collages is that due to the upright format and size, the secondary meaning often appears only when scrolling down.
