Indian author Rutuja Janhavi created a series of cartoon comics that depict some funny moments which occur in families, particularly hers. The mission of these comics, according to Janhavi, is to make the world a slightly lighter and happier place. The comics have so far reached a large Instagram audience counting 96.9k followers, under the nickname @disfxnal_family and the author has been posting one new comic every day for the last 2 years. The author also posts these comics on her website, where she arranges them in the form of episodes, each having a title of its own.
All comics follow a family consisting of the mother, father and two adolescent daughters through their daily events.
They record some cute things between them, like moments of mother care or small quarrels between parents and children, as well as some typical situations of lost objects in the house, starting inappropriate conversations at the table, or sharing emotional moments with family pets.
All comics are drawn in a very simple and old fashioned manner, using only black and white technique with some shadows and line work.
