Canadian woodworker John Heinz of Youtube channel I Build It created a wooden replica of the Giza pyramids in an attempt to understand the architecture behind these monuments.
“What follows is the building method that I think was used to construct these massive stone structures,” John says. “Of course, no one can say for certain exactly how it was done since there aren’t any verified writings from that time that describe the actual construction process.” So he tried to mimic the process with wooden pieces and understand how they may have been built.
