87-year-old Concha Garcia Zaera from Valencia, Spain has become an overnight Instagram sensation thanks to her incredible paintings in Microsoft Paint.
Zaera told Radio Valencia that she used to take art classes in oil painting but could not practice at home due to the strong smell of paints. She discovered MS Paint when her children gave her a computer. She doesn’t want to change the Windows 7 operating system even if it’s already obsolete because for her it controls perfectly and she is so used to working with her computer mouse that she could not draw well with a pencil or brush on a canvas.
According to Vanguardia, the grandmother spends about two weeks on one drawing and she is keen on the details of her artwork. She used to post her masterpieces on Facebook but one of her granddaughters encouraged her to use Instagram instead.
She has about 300 followers then it skyrocketed to more than 90,000 when a Twitter user @femilimon shared a screenshot of her account on March 10.

“I do not understand very well why my drawings draw so much attention, I think they are very simple things,” the Valencian artist said.
