Instagram super-star, Bertram the Pomeranian, has anything a doggo could ever dream of. Living in NYC, the spoiled pup is the official mascot of its owner’s art gallery. Dressed for success, with decked out bow-ties, Berite has amassed quite a following. Because who cares about art when there’s a cute dog around?
Still, it wasn’t always easy for this hefty pup. When he was only 5 months old, Bertram’s dog breeder dumped him at a dog shelter, with the reason being him “too big to sell”. Gallery owner Kathy Grayson saw him on a pet adoption site and brought him to New York almost immediately (because… look at that face!)
“I gave him his own Instagram as he was taking over my art gallery page! I need to post paintings and people just wanted to see Bert,” said Grayson in an interview with Bored Panda. “I love when people come to the art gallery to see Bertie or when they bring their dogs to meet Bertie,” she added.
“Bert is a wonderful guy and makes people happy, the Internet and social media are built for cute animals, people need an antidote to all the nastiness.” We couldn’t agree more.
