Giselle Quinto is an artist based in Amsterdam who embroiders lovely women surrounded by nature motifs. Her works represent the rare moments when one finds solitude and escapes from the world.

Using black lines, she outlines different female profiles adding colorful details like pink petals and green leaves.

“Giselle was born in Brasilia, Brazil, and made Amsterdam her home. Her work brings an anarchic view to classic embroidery, revisiting old traditions and transforming it in protest for equality, where all have the right to be and live whoever they are,” her website tells us.
