Artist Maria Carluccio was born and raised in a small town in New Jersey, but her passion drove her to travel the world and meet many different cultures. She wasn’t just a tourist; she actually lived in many different cities throughout her life.
Her art celebrates the experiences she gained through travel.
“I try to create images and narratives that inspire – sometimes these are messages of hope and sometimes they are simply reflections of ideas or themes that resonate with my own personal experiences. I always try to infuse my artwork with the sense of playfulness and curiosity,” her website reads.
