]]>When they see Proshka, who lives with his humans in Yorkshire, UK, some people immediately get reminded of the mogwai creature Gizmo from the 1984’s cult classic Gremlins. Others are convinced he is the spitting image of the Star Wars character and legendary Wookiee warrior Chewbacca. Several people also compared the dog to Grinch, although we believe he’s too adorable to steal Christmas.

“He seems to make people smile, and right now I think we need that more than ever. He is the happiest dog despite his grumpy face,” shares Doherty.

]]>“Although we give a voice to Crusoe, we feel that the personality you see online is a reflection of his real personality,” says his owner Ryan Beauchesne in an interview with Dogster.
“He loves adventure and exploring new places, and for a small dog, he’s very brave. He loves to play and squeak from morning till midnight, but is also not very cuddly or kissable (hence his tough-guy image online).”
Indeed, the miniature black and tan dachshund is keen on adventure and has traveled the world (at least when travel was possible), both locally and internationally, to places like the Bahamas, France, Italy, Switzerland, and Mexico.
His photos and videos often see him sporting some miniature (and often hilarious) costumes. In one video he’s seen as a brave ghostbuster, while in another (more lo-fi production) he’s simply running around in a Mickey Mouse costume. It’s this kind of top-notch content that has amassed him over 800,000 fans on Instagram and almost two million subscribers on YouTube.
But at least according to Beauchesne, the love for Crusoe goes further than his celebrity status, and has to do with his charming personality. “Sometimes, I wonder if Crusoe is actually a special dog or if it’s just this online character we’ve built that makes him seem special,” admitted Beauchesne.
“But people—even those who do not know he’s a celebrity—comment over and over how handsome he is or how human-like he is. So I think there is something different about him. He was meant to be a celebrity.”

]]>A former stray dog who called the streets home, Popeye was just one of the many homeless dogs roaming around with no one to care for them. That also meant that Popeye, as you’re about to see him now, looked a lot different then, what with his fur matting and him being just skin and bones and all.
Lucky for Popeye, he met his new mom and dad.
Ivy Diep, along with her husband, saw Popeye and it was love at first sight. They knew immediately that they had to do something, and after not finding the pup’s previous owners, they adopted Popeye and life has been pretty good for the former stray ever since.
Just how good, you may ask?
Well, let’s just say that not all dogs, nor people, can afford to be taken out to restaurants all over Los Angeles, and yet, Popeye has done that, and then some.
Now an Instagram star with 390k followers, Popeye, who is now known as “Popeye the Foodie Dog” is living the life.

Recently, Lifestyle Tails did a mock-interview with Margaret, where the pup shared its life philosophy. When asked where her fashion sense comes from, the Greyhound replied sassily: “It’s just something I was born with. You either have it or you don’t.”
And talking about her favorite hangouts, she said: “I just love getting out and about on the weekend with Jerry and visiting Adelaide’s many hipster coffee shops and bars. Unlike other major celebrities, I really enjoy mingling with the common folk. Adelaide has very few A-grade celebrities like myself and it gives people a real buzz when they see me on the street. Plus, it keeps me grounded, which I think is important.”

]]>Still, it wasn’t always easy for this hefty pup. When he was only 5 months old, Bertram’s dog breeder dumped him at a dog shelter, with the reason being him “too big to sell”. Gallery owner Kathy Grayson saw him on a pet adoption site and brought him to New York almost immediately (because… look at that face!)
“I gave him his own Instagram as he was taking over my art gallery page! I need to post paintings and people just wanted to see Bert,” said Grayson in an interview with Bored Panda. “I love when people come to the art gallery to see Bertie or when they bring their dogs to meet Bertie,” she added.
“Bert is a wonderful guy and makes people happy, the Internet and social media are built for cute animals, people need an antidote to all the nastiness.” We couldn’t agree more.

“The designs are based on manga, anime/movie characters, or Japanese playing cards,” she explained in an interview with BuzzFeed. “They are things that I like.”
“People laugh when they see these photos,” she said. “They also praise the dog, who manages to stay still. Chihuahua-mametaro is cooperative. He’s usually quiet and kind, so he rarely gets angry at something.”

Most Pomeranians weigh something in between 1.9–3.5 kilograms (4.2–7.7 lb) and stand at 5.0–11 inches (13–28 cm) high at the withers. Flouret explains he dutifully recreates at home the outfits of Madonna for the photo series (in the dog sizes, of course…) and personally sew 700 sequins for the Music costume, without a sewing machine. Max strikes the pose for recreations of covers such as Like a Virgin (1984) or Ray of light (1998) and Music (2000).
