Artist Turns Queen Songs to Comic Book Covers

Queen is one of the most famous bands of all times, with contagious rhythm, catching lyrics and wonderful music. They’ve changed rock music forever and their legacy is very well kept to this day.  But we can’t talk about Queen without mentioning Freddie Mercury, one of the best vocals the world has ever had – delivering unforgettable shows, spectacular concerts, and wild parties.

Freddie has made a huge mark in the music world and Queen is still one of the most popular bands because of it, continuing to be an inspiration for all their fans around the world.

Butcher Billy is a Brazilian designer and illustrator who this time, got his inspiration from this legendary band. He created a series of vintage comic book covers, each one different and inspired by a different song from the group.

This is not the first time for this artist to create comic books covers. He has also made covers for the show Black Mirror, as well as Stranger Things and sometimes even a mix of two or three different movies or songs to achieve a greater effect. His artworks are very refreshing and he’s most certainly breaking all the rules. Butcher Billy has also collaborated with Netflix, Warner Bros, Marvel, LA Times and Washington Post.

We are definitely looking forward to seeing more from this talented artist!
