]]>For her British followers, she is best known for her 3D soft sculpture mice. But she likes embroidery more and tries to make it as realistic as possible by adding beads to certain elements of the pieces.
Scrolling through her enchanting Instagram gallery, you’ll notice a bunch of animal portraits done with so much precision. Images of cows, roosters, giraffes, flamingos, chickens, and more, are adorning her social media platform. However, these pieces differ from others thanks to the colorful beads sewn into them.
Although she is currently available for commissions, she experiences a dose of anxiety when doing pet portraits.
“I’ve only done two pet commissions. They make me very anxious because of how personal and important they are to the customer,” she wrote on her Instagram.
She currently lives in Huston, Texas, with her husband. Scroll down and check out some of her work below!

]]>It all started when a colleague of hers asked to make a gift for his friend, a “big fantasy fan and an avid reader.” Sachenwerkler usually creates lamps for herself, but she accepted the commission.
She began the project by printing the book covers on paper and then gluing them to cardboard. Next, she started working on the dragon’s nest using acrylic Easter eggs and a nest formed from aluminum foil. When she was done making the base plate of different heights of Styrodur sheets, she began with the painting.
“But as I want the nest to be glowing, I need it to be transparent. So after drying I once again cover it with foil. The foil serves as a separating layer, because on it I now glue several layers of yellow transparent paper on it,” she said in a statement for Bored Panda.
She finished her project by decorating the dragon eggs and adding LED lamps. She also made two baby dragons who had already hatched.

]]>Her mother encouraged Milla to create fun and unusual things. However, her first encounter with sculpting happened in her earliest childhood when she picked up clay on a riverbank.
“My first experiments sculpting involved modeling clay or clay we picked up on a riverbank. The latter was an absolute delight to work with; although I could not fire it in the kiln, I could dry it in the sun and paint using gouache paints,” she shared in an interview for VoyageLa. She added that in 2018, she decided she would treat herself to a wheel-throwing class. And little to say it was love at first touch.
When in 2020 she lost her full-time job, Istomina decided to grab her handmade stuff out of the boxes, photograph them, and share her beautiful and unique pottery work on Etsy.
“I am more comfortable making my tableware on the potter’s wheel, while some pieces are exclusively hand-built. Etching, sgraffito, and underglaze painting are some of my favorite decorative techniques,” she added.
If you are interested in her creations, you can contact her on Etsy or make a commission, she loves creating new stuff.

]]>Working in law enforcement and dealing with his wife’s health issues, Clingenpeel suffered from anxiety all the time. Although he loved art since he was a kid, he never thought of trying it himself. At first, he took some online classes to get the basics. He was using a pencil but then discovered charcoal, and then the obsession began.
“I think it’s the ability to move the charcoal to how I want it by using my fingers or a brush. So now my medium of choice is charcoal and chalk and the occasional use of pastel pencils,” he said in a statement. He also added that he loves doing pet portraits and depicting his current mental health situation.
“My main focus now is drawings of mental health whether it is dealing with anxiety, depression, anger, eating disorders or drawing pictures of people’s animals.”

When her cup got fed up with all the injustice, she came to an idea to found a non-profit organization, which later became Milo’s Sanctuary & Cat Special Needs Cat Rescue Inc., a loving and caring home for cats with special needs.
“Our promise when we rescue them is to provide a safe and loving environment for the rest of their lives,” Hoffman shared in a statement. “All Milo’s cats receive medical care and anything else that they require to have the best quality of life we can give them for as long as we can.”
