Banksy Gifted His Hometown of Bristol a Mural For Valentine’s Day

Over the years, Banksy has been drawing street art all over the world, but he would always come back to his hometown of Bristol and surprise the townsfolk with some memorable artworks. Recently, the iconic street artist decided to stop by Bristol once again, this time gifting the city with an astonishing mural for Valentine’s Day.

The mural, located in the Barton Hill, shows a young girl holding a slingshot aimed towards a bouquet of roses that is bursting into an explosion.

The secretive artist took the credit for the piece by uploading several photos of it on his official Instagram.

Banksy’s newest mural was warmly received by the community, while the owner of the building immediately took action to preserve the artwork. He decided to cover the entire wall with Plexiglas in order to stop the vandals from desecrating it.
