For Caroline Eriksson, gingerbread is not just a treat. For a few years, this Norwegian artist has been talentedly sculpting gingerbread. In 2013, her Optimus Prime robot, entirely made of small plates of gingerbread, made its way around the world through social networks.
Based in Oslo, the young artist also directed the superb dragon Smaug from Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit saga. But gingerbread is not her only inspiration, she also sculpts chocolate for gourmands’ delight.
