Teen Invited People to Join Her Collaboration to Build a Chain

Caitlan Davis is a young crafter who has a huge passion for woodturning, watching YouTube, and filming videos of herself while making things. Recently, the 14-year-old Yorkshire, England-based teenager came up with an idea to start a collaboration on her YouTube channel where she invited people from all around the world to build a chain.

“A few months ago I invited fellow turners and makers to make a 10 cm ring out of whatever material they wanted and finished however they would like,” the artist shared with Bored Panda. “The aim to build a makers’ chain where I create link rings and join them all together.”

Little Davis was surprised by the response, and her first rings come in from countries all around the globe including the USA, Canada, France, Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and the UK. Until this article was written, she has collected over 70 rings. Some of the makers even filmed themselves while making their rings.

Feel free to join the collab. Watch this video for more information.
