The idea of creating this type of video came randomly. Challiner was scrolling through YouTube when she saw a video called Testing Women’s Pregnancy Cravings. That was the moment when she decided to try filming herself taste-testing weird food combos—even though she isn’t pregnant herself. Her first video blew up social media, so the creator continued making clips. Since then, she has uploaded over 20 videos, and now women from all around the world send their odd pregnancy cravings.
“In my opinion, some of the best pregnancy cravings have been chips and honey, apple and cheese, and ice cream on toast. The worst pregnancy cravings I’ve tried are either plain flour, cornstarch, or apple and toothpaste… ew!” she said in an interview for Bored Panda.

]]>As Katrina said in an interview with Bored Panda, her works feature a wide variety of adorable little monsters, animals, and other creatures.
“Making macarons is only a hobby, so I have no baking experience prior. I just started making macarons a year ago. The interesting part is how to pipe them neatly. My favorite part is decorating them since I get to add all of the adorable little details. Favorite character to make has to be Molang and Pusheen since I do make them a lot,” the baker said, adding that she loves to create and post her creations on Instagram, in order to make people smile.
Anyone who’s tried making macarons knows how tricky it to make these cookies, especially if you want them to look this good.

He explains that sometimes good design occurs fast and coincidentally, but often it’s the result of long and hard work and much trial and error. “But it’s always so inspiring to create,” says Babii. “It’s the most valuable time in my life.”
With an emphasis on environment protection and zero-waste ethics, Babii’s designs are made from fallen trees and unused logs cast off from construction sites.“I don’t cut down trees for the wood I need,” he stressed. “I also try to be as efficient as possible with how I use the wood I have.”
And while he doesn’t necessarily think that we must only use natural materials in our lives, he notes that as humans we should consider which materials we use and how our choices influence our life and our environment. ]]>“Whatever I create, whether it’s a carton of French fries, a tin of sardines or a box of frogs I always include lots of warmth and a dash of wit,” writes Jenkins on her website. “Above all, I want my work to make people smile.” A worthy goal, especially in times of crisis.
According to Jenkins, her whimsical is the result of years of experimentation with wool. “I was always looking for different ways to use my love of wool, textile, and color,” she explains. “And that’s how my art was born.” When Jenkins says “always” she isn’t exaggerating. She describes how she could knit and crochet by the age of eight and had spent many happy hours of her childhood totally engrossed in creating things with yarn. “Right from the beginning, I was addicted,” she admits.
“It didn’t take me long to realize that I was much better at interpreting an idea by creating it in 3d using wool rather than through painting or drawing,” she further relayed. This realization led her eventually to the University of Brighton where she graduated with a BA in Fashion and Textiles in 1995.
Fast forward some decades later and Jenkins now showcases her work in exhibitions, on top of creating commissioned pieces for both public and private collections. But you can also enjoy her pieces online, via Instagram.

The creative mom is using noodles, cherry tomatoes, rice, and other ingredients to create her food art, but it seems like her favorite food to experiment with is eggs. In most cases, Etoni uses eggs to create faces for her characters, which is why you’ll often see them in her unique meals.

]]>One of the latest videos he posted shows him prepare “the world’s thinnest sandwich.” Slicing the ingredients one by one, he starts arranging his thin sandwich on the cutting board. He starts with the bread, then cuts a few slices of cucumber and tomato, and finally adds ham with the tiniest bit of butter spread on it. The end result is so thin that he cuts it in half and rolls it before eating it. The entire sandwich is gone in just two bites!

]]>Kim and Park use baguettes, crusty rolls, and all sorts of pastries to create these one of a kind shoes. The idea for this project came unexpectedly, during a casual lunch in September.
“We were having lunch one day in September, and Na noticed that one of the free breadsticks that came with our soups resembled a shoe. That was the start,” Park said in an interview with It’s Nice That. The only thing left was to come up with a name for the project – and the choice landed on Panolo Blahnik.
“The name needed to be as ridiculous as the idea, so we just decided to lean into it,“ says Kim.

“We started making chocolate in 2010 after a short course with an Italian pastry chef,” the two relayed in an interview with the Printed blog. “Originally we set up in my parent’s garage with some second-hand equipment to practice our skills, but then in 2011, we got the keys to a small shop in the local town center.”
Over the years, they have grown to over 150 stockists around the world and now have a mini-factory where they can make 10,000 chocolate bars a week, all handcrafted by an all-female team in the UK. An added bonus is that the majority of their wrappers are made from recyclable or reusable material such as paper, card, and aluminum.
